About Lisa Robbins.

I believe that dance makes us feel more connected - physically, mentally and emotionally - to ourselves, others and our environment.

Dance can enrich and sometimes transform lives and I am often moved by the beauty that emerges when we dance. For me dance is about moving, creating, sharing, responding and connecting.

I use a range of movement principles to empower all participants to develop movement skills, be creative and explore their own dance vocabulary.

My mission is to make dance accessible so that everyone can experience the value and joy of dance.

I received a BA (Hons) in Contemporary Dance from Northern School of Contemporary Dance and a Post Graduate Diploma in Community Dance from Trinity Laban. My influences come from movement practices as diverse as improvisation, contemporary, ballet and capoeira.

I run group classes for babies/early years and their parents/carers, primary aged children, people with learning differences, people with Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), adults and older adults. I have worked teaching and leading dance for Stratford Circus Arts Centre, Dance West Hammersmith and Trinity Laban. I live in South London with my partner and two children.
